    Everton vs Wolves

I think the reason it has to be a red (in my extremely biased opinion) is that there is a clear grab of the hair and a tug. It doesn’t take much force for hair pulling to be painful. Like biting/grabbing of genitals, it is just not allowed. Players will have to learn.

Would be interested to hear other, unbiased opinions.

    Everton vs Wolves

I’m biased as a WWFC fan, but he had a good game. First red is nailed on. Clear action to tug the hair. Grabs it, and tugs in opposite direction to movement - it’s a VC red nailed on. Don’t understand the moaning about it. Grealish gave TK no choice. He seemed like he was completely fuelled...

    Darren England VAR

I think there is contact that was not seen by referee - but I still think it’s a foul. Getting a touch on the ball is not everything. I think it is worth the referee having a look tbh, but this just shoots us in the foot - getting the ball in itself isn’t everything. However - glad VAR kept...

    Sunday mornings eh?

I don’t do any Sunday morning games anymore. Not worth the agro or early morning wake up!

    West Ham v Tottenham

Thought this was very soft… more of a foul from Fernandez, if anything. Excellent quick red for the SFP later on though.

    Submitting sanctions

Yep. Always put them through (especially if it is a competitive game!). I am a complete square and will put them through in friendlies too. Just less hassle!

    Open Age Young referee threatened

Absolutely. It needs a buy in from referees in all counties etc.

    Open Age Young referee threatened

I think part of the training should be a mentor coming to see a couple of games - or group up the refs together to support each other. Refereeing is a tough craft - I remember one of the old guards coming to see one of my first games from my course for support and advice - feel like this part...

    CHE vs FUL

What I do agree with is that I’m not sure that it warranted VAR intervention. I think if it is given in real time, nothing is said. Watching this space.

Junior/Youth Brain fog after half time.

I proactively make myself focus by saying what I’m seeing in my head. “Ball off red”, “fair tackle”, but also lots of talking to make sure players know you’re there - arms down, let go of him, play on etc. It’s a good way to force the initiative.

After 4 years - it died

Yeah - use denture cleaners. It will just become my spare for now and the new one came out the box. It is very shiny!

    CHE vs FUL

Have to say - the pundits are truly clueless though. TNT really is second/third tier punditry, in my opinion.

    CHE vs FUL

Have said this all along - it’s the way it is going.

    CHE vs FUL

Yeah - definitely pen. Feel for the players - as it is hard not to handle in these situations.

After 4 years - it died

My trusty and much loved Valkeen whistle has finally lost its crispness after 4 seasons (ish). Luckily I remortgaged recently and have bought a new one. Anyone else had the same happen to them?

    City Vs Spurs

Not sure if it is SFP - he manages to bend his leg just in time, but it is still a foul challenge and got to be an arguable DOGSO?

    Puma Football Boots

Tops arrived yesterday (had to send back others as needed to go a full size bigger). They look good. Will be walking around the house in them for a few days to wear them in!
