    Abused... By a fellow ref

Thanks guys, warned several time=passing comments, then the red card for telling me I was an effing poo... In hindsight I should've asked the name, but in haste I gave him the red as I wanted him gone. On the confusion was he home team personnel, or spectator, I haven't a clue, as I arrived he...

    Abused... By a fellow ref

Unbelievable, it happened today during a ladies cup tie. Home team was definitely the stronger side, and after only 25 minutes were running away with it (7-0 end score). I let go some of the smaller stuff, trying to let game flow as much as possible, but this particular guy, just couldn't keep...

    Time

@GraemeS Good input there, with the "ask him". I'll put it in my witty comeback arsenal!

    Time

reason I ask is that, when 1 starts everyone else within seconds asks, including the managers. It does get tedious and annoying have to check watch every few seconds

    Time

Simple question: When players/managers ask how long, can a referee refuse to say?

    Another penalty...

First time I saw this. So penalty awarded, red PK taker puts ball down, I start doing my checks, take position, and before I can blow whistle, he takes PK. He is a young lad, so I approach him, and explain that he needs to wait for my whistle before he can take PK. Take 2: same as above I take...

    Penalty decision

@socal lurker Open net, the next red defender was stationary about 2m to his left, nobody else in front. Took his chance on half volley, and scuffed the shot, sending it side of post and out. Does that help with the second "phylosofy"?

    Penalty decision

I didn't play advantage, I literally not had a chance to bring whistle to mouth. Both happened in mere nano seconds. I can't see why, after a failed attempt at goal, I should award the penalty so the yellows gets a second chance at scoring? It doesn't seem fair?

    Penalty decision

This happened to me yesterday, 2 similar incident, 2 opposite results. So red v yellow local cup fixture. 1. Yellow attacker chasing ball into PA, red gk brings him down,I'm about to whistle for PK, ball bounces back to another yellow attacker who takes a shot at goal(open goal as gk still on...

    Dogso question

Ok just to reiterate, the 4 YC were given to blue attacking team, not sin bins but C1 AA. As for the gk Vs striker, there was a shirt pull, outside PA, but... By the time the shirt pull happened, gk stopped and blue attacker stopped 2 paces in front (gk now behind) and ball rolling slowly a few...

    Dogso question

Esteemed colleagues I need your input on this one. Scene: 89th minute orange v blue score is level, blue defender launch ball for their fast striker. Striker left the 2 orange defender on halfway line, orange gk meet striker outside the d, pulls striker shirt and let go, striker stops after...

The CFA circus is back in town

Report made on WGS, the match was played 13/09, also forgot to mention a police report has been made, they looking at, possibly, C19 aggravated assault! Anyway, after this fiasco, Sunday league could burn in hell for all I care, I'll claim back my sundays

The CFA circus is back in town

First game of the 20/21 Sunday league. 66th minute home team concede a penalty, one of home team players mutters something in a foreign language, giving me same gesture as Someone in Atletico Madrid Vs Juventus in champions League last season. Red card, after seeing card, he spits at me! In...

Junior/Youth The circus is in town

Aside for the whole circus, one question needs to be asked: Once a junior player gets dismissed from fop, whose responsibility is it to ensure his/her safety? Is it referee or club?

Junior/Youth The circus is in town

@Padfoot It was U15 boys. Found the league welfare officer and informed him. @Ben448844 Player sent off from away team, one of home team mum (she is a registered nurse) looked after the dismissed player.
