    Argy bargy at corner kicks

Mantaining discipline is the main tone you need to set. Getting to them again will get a harsher calling out or a one on one verbal warning to get the message stated. Anything further after that will come into your own hands to take action.

    Lightning

I had a funny experiance related to this. It was a academy cup final with my team a few months back as the grassroots league I reffed was already over. Lightning sirens went off and we had to wait in our cars. Ref called us back 30 min after and we had 5 mins before they went off again. This...

    Issuing cards

Take measures to draw the line in the games. As an AR I've seen the Head Refs card the young U12s. Typical challanges and I've seen disent as a trend in games at U-10-14 range as it has grown.

    Jewellery

I looked on the FA and found that earring are not permitted in games, but I also saw a rule on the Boston Youth Rec League saying that earrings are allowed as long as the player covers them in tape. Local rules for youth competitions make the rules in their games, so in some small leagues you can.

The tape on the ears could have decived the referee's decision, making it not stand out as much as without concealment of the earrings.

    Championship week 1 incidents

The decisions are upon the AR's and referee's discretion. The foul was in the book and no matter how soft (unless no contact) a push will be interpreted as a foul. Handballs will be needed to be reviewed upon referee's and the AR's discretion, plus VAR if availible. Could you send a clip or a...

But considering the preseason nature of the match its not as top class as regular season... :meh:

    Jewellery

According to the FA, jewelry is not permitted whether its taped or not. The referee could have done a improper inspection or the competition permits it (very unlikely). At that stage those little things should be taken care of.

    LOTG Exam Question

Either decision could be right or wrong at every angle you can look on it. Team A: Team A doesn't get the numerical advantage but after they would get it and they recived a goal because of that. Team B: Team B gets to keep their player for a bit but then they would concede a goal and anyways go...

    MOAS "Provisional" Appointments

Usually they'd be TBD from what I get told for games. If its that distant, a email will usually follow up at a recent time to the event. Observing or officiating it may be. I've never had a blank one before. Just mark that date.

    Managers Touchline Antics

Lots of managers typically exit their technical area. The refs would not enforce with much notice unless disruptive or repetitive.

    Time keeping

Have two watches-one for the actual time and a stopwatch to show game time. Stop stopwatch during delay and restart with a go button.

UEFA RAP 2024-1 E1, whose foul? Contending for a ball in the air

Yeah thats what I thought. It almost looked like a terrible karate kick in midair. Pretty reckless to me. The blue wasn't directly trying to take out white. The white flew on onto the blue with his body.

    Through Positioning

Train your endurance. Don't do pointless running (as was said earlier above). Focus on your diet before the game so you dont get pain in stomach (and to prevent you from hurling up your food in the most intense of moments). Also try to get somewhat close to the action to get a good view, but at...

    Kent cup ref highlits

Two outcomes in seperate universes: Ref calls a goal and recognizes that the goalie touched the ball Ref calls a goal kick and doesn't recognizes the keeper's touch Or the ref doesn't recognize the keeper's touch and calls it a goal as he doesn't recognize the rule in place Or vice versa of 3

    Automated offside

I think the arms are natural position. Just look at the body head and feet. Its a little bit unnecessary to highlight every part of the player.

Ladies Managing dissent or losing my rag?

Also for the sake of the game, dissent should be enforced agianst. If you let it take place, it will spread as a sense that its OK to insult the referee and to try to play mind games with him. Its also ruinning your game you are reffing. Zero tolerance should be taken to halt dissent.

Keeper barging attacker with ball in hands

Yeah like if the GK runs into him at full speed. Its pretty rare though for this incident. But if they have intent to hurt or injure the player in a dangerous manner, then they have to go. If they sorta just barge the player with a little push to it, it will be yellow.
