Agreed. But also I want to point out that its very hard to identify if its intentional. Either way, it will affect the ball movement and change course. Maybe they should make a rule for the penalty goal to stand if the ball doesn't change course after hitting the foot? I think it would make sense.

I say penalty. Ball wasn't out of bounds and the whistle hasn't blown for a stoppage of play. It's still an offense for tripping another player. It had no intention of touching the ball. A foul is a foul.

This definatly was a U6 match. They weren't throwing punches or anything, but they were pulling on the ball and scufling for it. Should I request help from the coaches from the teams if a situation occurs like this?
