I think we have a duty of care to the players, and should be able to stop a player playing if they don't where appropriate shinguards. The same as jewellery

IMO the governing bodies should have banned the tiny ones that the likes of Grealish where, ages ago. It only takes a tackle like Soucek's this evening to cause a very nasty injuryry

Surely, even outside the left of the penalty area, is still a goalscoring opportunity for an international player
