Yes. I moved as soon as I turned 16 and have not looked back. It is a requirement for promotion, so why not spend a season doing it, and then go for your 7-6.
Speak to your local RA - who should be able to arrange a mentor for you. Take all the support and advice you can (but also learn when to...
Blow for foul
Manage, if any of the players are injured, call the physio (man with a water bottle) on
Isolate the offender maintaining a view of the main body of players (In nearly all cases - do not show a quick caution! This is a Premier League technique and we do not want to see it in...
Although... HertsFinest is correct that LOTG
"The referee has the authority to take disciplinary sanctions from the moment he enters the field of play until he leaves the field of play after the final whistle"
I'm incredibly tired - can someone tie up the loose ends over when you can send...
Incorrect. It is the moment you arrive at the ground, to the moment you leave the ground. For example, a player can be sent off before play has started...
Extremely well handled - top job.
There is always room to improve
1) I would expect a caution for yellow 10 for C1-AA
2) When talking to the player, he has isolated him and told him to stop bending over. BUT - he has gone side on to play, and thus his view is on the goal, and not on the mass of...
Bloody hell.
1) You're loved up and its affected your judgement
2) Shouldn't bend the law to suit your needs
3) You are very patronising. 'Now I am a higher level', 'decent level ref here' etc... I would advise you to get off your high horse. Your level does not mean a lot on this forum, it is...
Well handled in my opinion. You quickly identified what was happening, you were proactive, and got on top of the incident quickly and with control.
Perhaps keep a longer trailing eye on the offenders, as there is larger possibility of 'afters' compared to standard events, would be beneficial.
I found it very good.
Basically - everything you do refereeing related can earn you points. At the end of the season, you send your logbook in - all your points can then be used as a currency. I purchased a full nike kit for example, and saved myself ~£60.
The number one fault is efficiency...
When I first started refereeing, I use to referee on a lot of council estate pitches.
Often there would be the small of weed - but you are there to referee the game, so my advice would be to leave it, and pretend you don't notice it (others will disagree with me)
If you feel like it should be...
1) In my opinion, you lost control. Once you lose your cool, you are no longer calm, and have to resort to aggressively shouting at players (they would be cautioned if it was vice versa) and in quite a patronising manner - "Come on, quicker!"
2) When sending off the player, one could have...
Caution him.
The player is trying to con and undermine you.
He should have reported this before the game. If he really did have hearing problems, then it would have caused problems before - from which he should have learnt and will remember to tell all match officials... If it was his first...
Indeed mate - many assessors have different views on positioning, so you'll hear a lot! All I will say about this TI position - do you see many Select Group - Championship - League One etc... officials taking up his position?
Not offside by the sound to it. As it is a rebound, the last controlled play was from the defender, thus the attacker is not offside.
If the defender had kicked it out, and the Spurs player headed it to his teammate, he would be offside.
