SFC (or SFA) is indeed essential regardless of whether you are doing youth football. The system will not let you register if you don't have the correct certification. Registration opens in three days.

You need a safeguarding children qualification to register as a referee at all. Even if you don't do youth football. This is for the whole of England, it's not per county. The exception is if you are 14 or 15, then you need to do safeguarding for all.

Also, it says you're a company registered in England but I can't find any such company and the contact details on the Ts&Cs are blank. (It is a legal requirement to include your company number and registered address.)

If blue 8 passes to blue 9 while 9 is in an offside position, but red 5 intercepts the pass and brings the ball under control, can blue 9 challenge red 5 for it? If not, at what point can blue 9 take part again?
