As far as I can see, the only way to get them is on Ebay, but they're coming from Australia.

    Boots

My Asics Gel-Lethal 19's have come to the end of their life, and I will almost certainly be shelling out whatever I have to in order to get a new pair. Most comfortable boots I've ever had, and an absolute necessity for anyone with calf/achilles problems.

    Turkey v Northern Ireland

Three possibilities I can think of: a) The referee saw the defender's handling as the arm making the body unnaturally bigger rather than deliberate, therefore caution not red, b) The referee saw it as deliberate handball but saw the ball came off the attacker's arm, therefore no goal if the ball...

    Arsenal vs PSG

There is no holding by the defender, only the attacker. I could have understood if the officials had deemed it a penalty on-field, but it only takes one view of a replay to see that the attacker initiates the contact by holding the defender's arm, effectively pulling him down on top of him.

    MOT vs CEL

The SFA's monthly VAR review show is out, and Willie Collum has supported the decision. I think their position that the arm is in an unnatural position and therefore it's handball is both subjectively and, more importantly, objectively incorrect. Subjectively as the arm was originally in a...

    Your Card Stats

While I was active at 4 I was getting 20-25 middles (Step 5/6, FL Youth Alliance, FA comps and County Cups), and 15-25 lines (Step 3/4, U18 PL, FA comps and County Cups) per season, and doing about another 20-30 friendlies and lower level games. Fewest games I did in one full season at 4 was 65...

    Your Card Stats

This season - 34 middles, 54 yellows, 3 reds. In total - 532 middles, 664 yellows, 68 reds (that includes friendlies and my pre-L4 seasons, which pull my averages down a bit!)

    MUN v NFO

No, you don't, because it's not a handball offence. We shouldn't be perpetuating misunderstandings in Law just because "the game expects it".

    MUN v NFO

They changed the LotG a few years ago so that something like this would be disallowed because it accidentally hit an attacker's arm in the build-up to the goal, and everyone complained. So they changed the Laws, now they're complaining here too. Football's two-facedness is laughable. (not having...

    CFA registration fees

£10 extra per season is not a big jump. Even more so when you take into account that the registration fee has remained static for over 20 years. Using the Bank of England's inflation calculator, £20 in 2006 would be over £35 now.

    CFA registration fees

In the last 10 years, the fee on our county league has increased from £15+mileage to £35+mileage, and U14-U16 has increased from £15 to £35. If you were getting £35 for youth matches 7 years ago, that was certainly ahead of what the youth league fees were here.
