    Fitness test locations - July

haha I’m sure with the right training you’ll be fine!.. I’m convinced that increasing the requirements of the fitness test is The FA’s way of whittling down the numbers. I don’t think there’s much more they can do with the sprints but it wouldn’t surprise me if they changed the times for L4s on...

    Fitness test locations - July

It really has made a difference. I did the test a couple of Sundays ago and at least 10 failed the sprints and weren’t then allowed to do the intervals. It was wet and slippy but no allowance was given. Now they use the timing gates there really is no hiding place with the sprints!

    Back to suits?!

I saw on a post on Facebook (can’t remember the page) earlier on that said referees in the Southern Combination are being asked to revert to wearing collar and tie to games (as we did pre-Covid). Can I ask what’s included in the free kit? Is it just a match shirt? Hoping to be level 4 next year so just wanted to know what I’ll have left to buy to be well kitted out.

Sin bins - playing time only?

I was watching a step 5 game on Tuesday night. Midway through the second half an away team player was cautioned for dissent so left the field for a 10 minute sin bin. A couple of minutes later the home goalkeeper went down injured, and there then followed a lengthy stoppage (nearly 10 mins)...
