    Arsenal vs Man Utd

Everton player got sent off for a little friendly slap round the face. Martinez punched Jesus in the back of the head. Something you get disqualified for in boxing. I can guarantee ref watch will say there wasn't enough 'force'. The Maguire handball is the one I don't get. Flung himself in...

    Arsenal vs Liverpool

Think there is a massive overreaction online about this. These are Slot's comments and a manager speaking sense: Arne Slot: "I don't know Gabriel Martinelli but he comes across as a nice guy. "The problem for him, and it's a problem in general in football, is that there is so much...

    Brentford v Tottenham

What is your rationale for it not to be C&O? He is through on goal and it's DOGSO

    Brentford v Tottenham

Would love to hear the audio for the Thiago incident. Didn't win the ball, last defender, literally wipes out the player. DOGSO.

    Newcastle v Chelsea

Not to mention the handball too. Not sure how much further away from the body a hand could possibly be. Baffled that wasn't given.

    Man Utd v Everton

negligible - key term here. We've seen much worse with greater force get away with intentional kicks/stamps/punches and nothing given at all. Negligible is subjective. This was hardly a slap imo. Team mates showing passion. However, the ref decided in his view it's enough force. So I don't...

    City vs Liverpool

Referee just missed the textbook double caution for Bradley... Such a shame as that was exactly what was taught when the rule came out!

    Palace VC

Definitely a clenched fist. Regardless of force... That sort of action should not be on a football pitch and should warrant a red card.

    Palace VC

I can only imagine there was 'not enough force' for the palace player to avoid a red card. But how is such a clear piece of violent conduct allowed?! The rules there are simply not up to standard. A clear punch to the body out of frustration/due to petulance is VC red card all day every day.

    Darren England VAR

What makes today worse is Gyrokeres moves the ball onto the foot, not Pope making a challenge. So pundits making out it's a good tackle is just ridiculous. Nevertheless, it's not a clear and obvious error. It's another glaring human error this weekend. Also, Arsenal denied another penalty with...

    CHE vs FUL

What is clear and obvious? Ref is literally looking right at it from a few meters. What has he missed that was right in front of him? Attacker is making an action to play the ball, ref has seen the same, play on. Football is a contact sport after all

    Fulham vs Utd

Two fouls happening simultaneously. Why has VAR got involved? Surely that is refs call. He said no, carry on. There is no way you can determine who fouled who first as it all happened at the same time. Then how on earth is United's goal not disallowed? Two handed push in the back that directly...

    City Vs Spurs

Second week and use of VAR is inconsistent. Surprise surprise.

    Liverpool Vs Bournemouth

No one has mentioned the flying kungfu kick from MacAllister at the end of the first half. How was that not deemed a penalty?! Webb has said there will be more penalties this year for holding, but you can flying kick someone and it's deemed fine?!? That more baffling than the handball IMHO.

    Palace v Man City FAC

Textbook definition of a dive that.
  16. R

    Arsenal v Brentford

MLS was glancing contact and a trip. It didn't meet the threshold for force nor endangerment of a player's safety. All agreed upon the review. This is a lunge in scissors action, knee height from behind. Totally different 'tackle'. Incomparable
  17. R

    Arsenal v Brentford

Scissor action With force Ball nowhere to be played. Just below knee. Had Martinelli's leg been planted, his leg would have most likely been broken. Luckily it wasn't, but this does seriously endanger the player. Ticks all the boxes for a red. VAR being inconsistent again
  18. R

    everton v arsenal

Well yes because the player didn't think he got fouled, otherwise why get up? If he was fouled, he would have done several rolls, screamed in 'agony' and held a body part for a prolonged period of time to ensure the referee knew he was definitely fouled and 'hurt'.

    everton v arsenal

The fact that Harrison got straight back up and continued to chase down the ball tells you everything.

    BHA vs NFFC

Anderson was clearly looking for contact, Mitoma missed him, so he initiated contact. Absolutely no way is that where he would have normally placed his foot. There is one camera angle that demonstrates that perfectly. Great use of VAR.
