    Marciniak whistle

I actually got rid of it! Only use the wrist thing as like to let my gross sweaty hands have a break and air out every so often.

    Marciniak whistle

I use the Molten Valkeen. I’ve tried all of the brands, and I just really get on with it. It took a couple of games to get used to the different tones as it can be hard to control, but I find my whistling is clear, crisp with enough variety with this one. I didn’t get on with the Fox Sonic or...

Carabao Final - CHE V LIV

I think that because it is an offside decision and a goal, it doesn’t necessarily have to meet the threshold. What was done well was that they got the ref to make the final call, which was sellable.

Carabao Final - CHE V LIV

Yes - very good spot by VAR.

    "You ruining the game ref!"

There’ll always be players on a pitch that enjoy being a pain in the a%#e… You simply gave him what I bet he wanted… some attention from his mates after the game,

The 81’ VAR check - no for me.

Penalty appeal… thoughts? (72’). To me it looks clumsy and like it could have been a pen…

    Carlos Corberan Sending Off

I actually saw it on twitter with this - seems like referee couldn’t do anything about it. But as @RustyRef said, this is exactly why there is a technical area and why it should be enforced.

    Carlos Corberan Sending Off

I think this is where the laws should have some leeway as it was a clear error of judgement/mistake from the WBA manager (this is coming from a wolves fan!). But the LOTG make it clear that it has to be a RC. Don’t think there was space for discretion.

    Junior/Youth U13 Game Incidents

This is excellent advice. Walk back and sin bin the loudest who walks towards you. Some referees will say that it is ‘weak’ or ‘bad game management’ if you sin bin… they are wrong. Some games need them. Congratulations for not being last weeks referee. If a player is old enough to use...

Sin Bins - are you finding they help?

I think this is the way that it will go eventually - and a fine - dissent is the cancer of the game (like diving and feigning injury)…. Also - the FA must be missing the money from C2 cautions!!

Sin Bins - are you finding they help?

I think sin bins CAN be excellent. Sometimes they have the desired effect. I’d like to see them change it slightly. Keep the 10 minutes, but make it also count as a normal yellow, and include the admin fee/fine. Out of 32 middles this season I have given 6 sin bins. One of which was on...

    WBA v WOL

Just don’t understand why people get so violent over football…. Just baffles me.

That time of year again - thinking about quitting

Where are you based? Happy for you to PM me. May be worth asking someone from RA or in your county to come and see you for a couple of games - sometimes we are missing a couple of small things in our game to make things easier for ourselves.

    Port Vale v Portsmouth

I also think that the penalty decision was correct too! So the fan was doubly moronic! Hopefully this will get enough traction to make a positive change.

    Burnley v Luton

VAR poor again - but old news.

Wear the grippy socks on top or the match socks on top?

    Nike Shirt - Pocket Issues

How do you incorporate your match socks with these?

    Brentford v Wolves

Again - shows the calamity that is VAR. As a wolves fan I believe that Gomes was correctly dismissed, but the Damsgaard challenge was equally bad, if not worse. C&O needs to be changed to “incorrect”.

    NEW LIV

Only person who should be criticised here is Jota. Just pathetic.
