Hi Richard, normally I would contact sec but the team only has a manager. Received an email today though from league sec to offer an apology and to say a management committee meeting will be called to discuss the incident.

Halifax Sunday League mate, it just seems this month that everyone has lost all respect for match officals as there as also been another assault in a league somewhere.

Hi Greg, league doesnt require managers to contact referees at all, only reason i contacted them was because the "home" team play on local parks pitches and i knew they wouldnt be able to just go into changing room and pull out an alternative kit. Report has gone into county so will wait and see...

Well it appears I may not have had a game like I thought I had as just got next months fixtures and have been moved from division 3 upto division 1! Happy days :)

Well the teams turned up and played some ok football, unfortunately for them the referee didnt! had a shocking game which i can only put down to experience and learn from it. i made some good decisions and made some howlers! but as i say time to look to next week and learn from my mistakes i guess

no only a district cup but we all have to start somwhere :p

HAs just recieved my first cup game appointment for sunday. are there anything you do different in respect to pacing urself in the event of extra time or pens.

I have 3 leagues. OA Saturday, OA Sunday morning and junior league. the OA are usually alternate weekends so i get a rest day everyweek lol
