As someone who uses RefSix bit also needs reading glasses, a bigger font option would be very helpful!!!

Chairman reffing in league decide fixture.

My son (13yo) plays in a local league that doesn’t appoint referees. I referee the vast majority of their home games and always declare in advance to the oppo I’m a parent. Only ever been accused of being biased once, ironically by a team who should have had a player sent off and scored two deep...

    U15 Tier 1 Bad Match

First and foremost @Jayden - we all have games we wish we could have back and the fact you're already reflecting on that is a very good thing, but be in no doubt that the behaviour of the CAR (it reads like it's a parent, rather than an appointed AR?) was disgraceful so well done for reporting...

How long do we have to submit disciplinary reports via WGS / when do suspensions start?

I do understand that James, hence asking the question to make sure I didn’t let my sympathy for the player mean I did something I shouldn’t. WGS report has been submitted and given suspensions commence on the seventh day he’s clear to play in the final.

How long do we have to submit disciplinary reports via WGS / when do suspensions start?

I found the FA’s Grassroots Discipline Guide for 24/25 which confirms suspensions commenced on the 7th day after the RC regardless of when submitted, so WGS has been updated. FA GRASSROOTS DISCIPLINE GUIDE

How long do we have to submit disciplinary reports via WGS / when do suspensions start?

Thank you. I know it’s soft, but I don’t want rob him of a cup final experience (even in our local Dog & Duck league) if I can avoid doing so whilst staying within the rules.

How long do we have to submit disciplinary reports via WGS / when do suspensions start?

Some of you will hate me for asking this but I’m going to ask regardless. Game today, home team playing a final on Tuesday. 9 mins in, away team striker 1-on-1 with keeper, who’s out of his box, tries to knock it round keeper who instinctively puts out an arm and handles it. Blatant DOGSO and...

If only VAR could intervene every time that the defence gave the ball away then maybe!!!

    Hearts v Dundee Utd

Based on the other angle, seems entirely justifiable to me especially given the ref's ideal view - there's speed, a lack of control and high contact point. Spotting SFP is one of my areas for development (having missed two this year that were subsequently clear cut when reviewing VEO) so I'd...

    everton v arsenal

For me, the only reason Harrison goes down is because he pulls down Lewis-Skelly towards the end of mutual holding, and when Lewis-Skelly falls he inadvertently contacts him. Either waving play on or defensive FK for me, probably the former as less contentious and more sellable as six of one...

    Palace v Brighton

I don’t disagree Josh, although in real time I don’t fault AT for not seeing the contact and concluding blatant dive, in which case it’s far more understandable as a decision as opposed to a random caution for making a meal out of the contact.

    Palace v Brighton

There is slight contact and at speed this can obviously have an impact on balance, but at the very least he’s exaggerated the impact so no problem with it being YC for simulation.

    How to get Veo footage.

Yes. One of those in Dog & Duck football where you'd likely get a comment along the lines of "it's not the Premier League, Ref!" but he's got a chance either to carry the ball or play it through for a potential 1v1, but it's not an egregious error imho. Nailed the decision. Would echo others...

Almost certainly. It's all about social media views/clicks/engagements.

Never turn your back on the GK

I feel it's a much easier sell for the referee to award the goal with the explanation "sorry lads, I didn't see it" than to guess the decision as he clearly has.

IFAB confusing communication on deliberate handball inside the penalty area

Gr8 question - I've always wondered what I'd do if a defender made a diving save with hand on the goalline but didn't DOG as the ball was already going wide. advantage played then no DOGSO therefore no RC but think it's YC for USB?

    How to get Veo footage.

Just ask the club. I always ask because I'm keen to review and improve. Never known a request to be turned down (though had one or two where I wish they had 😭!!!).

Junior/Youth Red cards in Youth football

Obviously you had to be there, but I’m a firm believer that keeping cards in the pocket at U12s and up is simply doing the players a disservice. I do on occasion, depending on the nature of the game, not issue cards at this age for what LOTG says should be but when it comes to things like DOGSO...

    Kent cup ref highlits

There but for the grace of God! Finally got a VEO through yesterday from an U18s Cup Semi-Final a few weeks back and the one decision I thought I'd got wrong (missing SFP) I absolutely had and it's so obvious from the film. Long(ish) story - I thought it was SFP in real time, but working with...
