By the time the shirt pull happened, gk stopped and blue attacker stopped 2 paces in front (gk now behind) and ball rolling slowly a few...

The CFA circus is back in town

First game of the 20/21 Sunday league. 66th minute home team concede a penalty, one of home team players mutters something in a foreign language, giving me same gesture as Someone in Atletico Madrid Vs Juventus in champions League last season. Red card, after seeing card, he spits at me! In...

Junior/Youth The circus is in town

Aside for the whole circus, one question needs to be asked: Once a junior player gets dismissed from fop, whose responsibility is it to ensure his/her safety? Is it referee or club?

Junior/Youth The circus is in town

So this was yesterday in junior league. Away team in yellow, home team yellow. Comp rules state away team to change. Away coach didn't bring bibs. Before kick off 2nd away coach, tell me the actual coach is ill and couldn't travel. Found out after game neither are qualified coach, and I assume...

    Open Age Been assaulted

Reply from CFA when queried the "sine die" from 2015, makes interesting reading: I have no idea why it is still showing him as being ‘sine die’ because I have checked and double checked and he was definitely ok to play. In 2015 the Club, did place (the player) on default owing monies to them...

    Open Age Been assaulted

Police took view as a racial motivated assault, but the officer also said that although a prosecution would be on cards, so court and all, in reality police are reluctant to put it through court as magistrate would only impose some community services! Instead police want to record as S39 common...

    Open Age Been assaulted

Couple of weeks ago, during a mid table clash. 80th minute player dismissed S7, after giving him more than his fair chance warning, and he told me to f**k off back to the f***ing country I f***ing come from... Adding the 4 letter C bomb. Not only that but also pushed me couple of times both hand...

    A strange one

@Brian Hamilton Indeed it was a WRCFA county cup, and also seen the comp rules and agree with you there. Didn't get any communication from home team, I turned up 35 minutes before the scheduled kick off, game was almost finished. Not a lot I could do!

    A strange one

@lincs22 County cup rules require home club to contact referee prior to game. I have emailed CFA ref sec with what happened, and asked for match fees on Sunday, so far no reply. First time it happened to me.

    A strange one

My 2p wort... 2 team playing in 2 different league, received the county cup fixture. Along with the appointed referee and start time! Yet they pleaded no communication given from CFA. How did they know they were playing each other? Little side story... Home club was having a bonfire and...
