So finally took the plunge and applied for promotion 7-6 and I've got my first observed game today. I do assistant ref on Northern Counties and have had a few observation already all of them at 72.5 Any advice from some more experienced ref? Many thanks

On the report I put down the 2 sin bin and red card no misconduct as he went from FOP. If CFA queries it I'll explain it.

Whaddya know? Google is plenty helpful. Done a picture reverse search and landed on the guy social media, confirmed it was his, got a name, checked against CFA, and he is an actual ref, a level 4 at that. So card and extraordinary report gone to CFA.

reason I ask is that, when 1 starts everyone else within seconds asks, including the managers. It does get tedious and annoying have to check watch every few seconds

I didn't play advantage, I literally not had a chance to bring whistle to mouth. Both happened in mere nano seconds. I can't see why, after a failed attempt at goal, I should award the penalty so the yellows gets a second chance at scoring? It doesn't seem fair?
