Is there a website where I can see all the games that have been allocated too me ? I’m in Northampton and our leagues have started using the pitch side calendar for us to mark off our closed dates but is it possible to view the fixtures allocated too me on full time or whole game web site...

As I’m quite new to this refereeing lark I keep going back to the LOTG to try and educate myself , think IFAB need to check the pictures they’re using ! (Check out the name on the shirt !)

When you say get wide , do you mean literally out on the touch line if need be ?

I think its just something I never thought I would do ! given out plenty of stick over the years , and when stopped playing , I just wanted to stay involved ! Even being on the other end of the abuse hasn't put me off ! although its a fine line when you start giving it back !

Hi , looking back on it they probably did only score because defenders stopped on the whistle , genuinely enjoyed it ,

Did my first game this morning , all went fine , except ! a lad went down in the centre circle after a very very obvious trip , I blew instantly , ball carried on running through and his team mate went on to score , looking back I could have waited a few seconds to see how play developed ...

Hi I was contacted by the nene Sunday league today and also spoke to Chris rowland at NDYAL , I presumed OA would be more of a challenge and am up for that , just wasn’t sure if should do youth football as a slower learning curve , I’m tempted to try both and see how I get on

42 years young , just finished playing but want to stay involved

I’ve just completed the basic referee course in Northamptonshire and was considering going straight into OA Sunday football , is this wise or should I do a few youth games first ?

Did the first day yesterday , instructors were great , im 42 nearest too me was 24 the other 22 all aged between , 14 and 16 , felt bad asking the instructors questions ! nobody else said a word !

How did you find the course ? have you done your five games since ?

Cheers mate , since I applied for the course been chatting to people reffing mine and my lads games and they all seem to be really young , wasn’t sure if having played would be help or hinderence , did you start reffing kids games ?
