Whatever time the pitch is booked for this afternoon? 😝

When does an injured player have to leave the field?

Given that it says collide, I would say they both need to leave. I assume the exception requiring it to be a collision is to stop players pretending to need treatment if one of their teammates needs treatment, so that the teammate wouldn't need to leave the field.

When does an injured player have to leave the field?

However, whether the player receives treatment is irrelevant: The moment the referee calls medical staff on, the player must leave (except for the circumstances stated otherwise in the LotG)

When does an injured player have to leave the field?

The OP says the player wants the physio on, it doesn’t state whether treatment is received or not.

    CHE vs FUL

I'm not convinced it's a foul, but I wouldn't have had an issue with the referee giving it on-field. I don't think it meets the threshold for VAR to be getting involved though. But I definitely agree that the pearl-clutching hysteria that resurfaces every time VAR gets involved with something...

After 4 years - it died

I had to change whistle at half time today after my definitely real and not cheap Chinese knockoff 'Valkeen' went a bit peculiar as I blew for HT. Hoping it's no more than a bit of gunk clogging it up inside, but preparing myself for the possibility of shelling out a whole seven, maybe even...

    City Vs Spurs

I don't think you can really say that his arm is in an unnatural position though.

    8 seconds not being enforced

I find it easier to keep my counting consistent by doing it verbally too, but I'm not doing it loud for the whole ground to hear (too busy trying to get my breath back to be bellowing the countdown 😅)

    Less than 7 players

    A) Slap the sh*t out of the AR for not telling you at the time. B) Laugh at Team B for only scoring once in 35 minutes against a team with 8, 7, and then 6 players. C) As X is coming back on they'll be up to 7 again, so I'd allow the game to continue (and obviously a report post-match) D) Find...

    LOTG Exam Question

The sanction has already been issued though, it's not like there was a separate offence committed which the referee was unaware of. Obviously there isn't a definitive answer to this in the Laws as IFAB don't feel it necessary to legislate for a referee making such a daft mistake (sorry GP!) but...

    MOAS "Provisional" Appointments

Yes - was mentioned during the pre-season update Teams call, and the Step 3-Step 6 pre-season update document attached to the email sent out last Friday.

    LOTG Exam Question

I'd be surprised if a player who shouldn't be on the FoP could get onto the FoP and interfere with play without the referee being aware of it! Regardless, the referee has become aware that said player shouldn't be on the FoP after the goal has been scored, and before play restarts. Same logic...

    LOTG Exam Question

Said player shouldn't be on the FoP, having been cautioned twice. What else would you call that but 'extra'?

    LOTG Exam Question

"If, after a goal is scored, the referee realises, before play restarts, that an extra person was on the field of play when the goal was scored, and that person interfered with play: - the referee must disallow the goal if the extra person was: - a player, substitute, substituted player...

    Women's football

Unless they've deliberately handled it, they wouldn't be making themselves unnaturally bigger, so no offence.

    Count down, or count up

Ah fair enough, obviously I missed that one 😅

    Count down, or count up

17 by my watch! It is, although aside from the above one I can't say I can recall any instances where I've thought a keeper was obviously taking too long.

    Why are sin bins ..

Because the LotG stipulate that temporary dismissals are only an option for youth, veterans, disability or grassroots football.

    keeper DOGSO today

It can't be DOGSO, so we can forget about that. "Kicking or carrying the ball away, or provoking a confrontation by deliberately touching the ball after the referee has stopped play", however? Certainly sounds like it. Maybe in a friendly I'd use my discretion (providing I'd already indicated...

    Fitness test locations - July

I thought it was bad form for The FA to say at the end of January that "There will be no changes to the fitness test requirements for next season", only to then inform us mid-April it was changing from two to four sprints.
