    Stinker

So today, I reefed two mini football matches and at 7's and 8s. Both teams I have hand in coaching. First match went by without much incident I feel, a few judgements I thought went one way others the other. Then a few grumblings. Plenty of 'play on' advantage played. 2nd game, well thought...

is 26 to old to become a new ref

I sure hope not Dan, I was lucky that the Junior league paid for people to complete the course. I took it last year at 33. it's taken just over a year to do 5 games with my 6 and call back event next week after a break as I Run my sons teams. Finally back into it I'm just curious if I get fit...

    Nerves

    Nerves

Cheers Guys Very insightful. Do you guys do Junior or operate and have a preference? If so why? Yesterday I did an U7 and a U8 straight after, found the U8s easier to Ref for some reason.

    Nerves

Cheers Paul, I think in time I will enjoy it, but as it's new I'm analysing everything. As a junior manage I've seen my fair share of refs getting abuse and probably expect it. Just yesterday I had a few that were shouting referee! But I ignored that. Good point on the call then arm. What...

    KO retake.

As my first post I had an incident in a game yesterday. Granted it was only an U7s game but wondered if I had this decision right. Red team to take KO after Blues had scored. I blow my whistle and Blues attack into the center circle, Reds Kick Ball and Blues take ball off them but had an...
