    How?

Respect for refs? Benefits to football as a whole? I had a insult referencing VAR directed at me from a players parent. Weird one.

    How?

Been reading it. Getting somewhere but sometimes questions elsewhere are faster. The general it has to benefit the game imho doesnt fit with VAR.

How are rule changes ratified? What rules can national FA's change?

    Homophobic language

Have you asked? What would I be surprised by? And can this skewed anecdotal sample be used to apply a sweeping generalisation regarding the understanding of all nine-year-olds? Some nine-year-olds may get crushes, many will not, many simply will not understand the differing emotions they feel...

    Homophobic language

Thats is not what individuals on the thread have suggested. Red cards for nine year olds. Threatening punitive measures are not a good form of development for children. Tell them its wrong but do not expect deep understanding. A nine year old kid will almost certainly have no idea about...

    Homophobic language

So you would referee a U18 game the same as a U10 game? You cannot. The game and those who play It are different as humans. A nine year old is not an adult. Kids still think they are spiderman at nine. A child of nine will not have the same level of understanding as adult, they will have...

    Homophobic language

Is the suggestion there at all? You are displaying a bias using an adults cynical view of a word that has differing meanings. I have coached kids from six to youth level. Nine year olds still believe in Father Christmas, a nine year olds world view is wholly different to a adults, hence why I...

    Homophobic language

Well It is making a point. I coach kids. These kids do use on the odd occassion the term gay. It means lame and rubbish to the fourteen and fifteen year olds I coach. Its use there and its context is not homophobic. Hence I asked what does the term mean to that kid (u10)?

    PNE -BCFC

What I see is the Bristol City player makes contact with the Preston player who is marginally ahead of him bringing the Preston player, and both players to the ground. Foul. Excellent refereeing.

    Refsupport FA Trophy

https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/bristol-manor-farm-referee-video-6043690 Bristol Manor Farm manager Lee Lashenko has apologised and admits he cannot defend his actions towards referee Richard Lawrence in their FA Trophy defeat to Paulton Rovers, but has no intention of resigning...

Gary Crisps disagrees. I am open to being told I am wrong and why - Is the contact enough? No and I feel he is already going down pre contact.

    Leeds Burnley

If this is the refs view I can see why the referee feels its a foul.

    Goal kicks ..

Thanks for the link … I read the entire ten pages. Summary. So IFAB, the lawmakers, don't have a clue if the law permits this? I saw this being used in an under thirteens game. The referee allowed it. The opposing coach appreciated what his opponent was doing because it allowed a young keeper...

    Goal kicks ..

Thanks ASM.. There has been much debate about whether, at a goal kick, the goalkeeper is permitted to ‘lift’ the ball to a team mate to head or chest it back to the goalkeeper to catch and then put into play. The views of technical and refereeing experts about whether this is within the...
