That was with me on your line ;)

    5-4 first report

71 & 73. So I'm averaging a 72 which I'm fine with. Made sure I applied stepped approaches, spoke to change of linos etc just to up the score where I could. Was actively aware during the game that (because of how well I managed it obviously) there was little to report on.

    5-4 first report

2 Observations here so far - both without neutrals on nothing games so I'm really hoping I can get my next few with neutrals to help my development. I'm more worried about lines currently. Only 1 so far this season. Changed supply leagues to give me a better chance.

    Check those competition rules!

Surprised they have allowed the red card to stand. I would have thought they would wipe the slate clean for the game. Are any yellows still counted? I'm out of touch with the ins and outs but in the FA Cup do you have a totting up protocol and have a ban for the next round after too many yellows?

What's the most cautions you've given in a game without reckless tackles?

Not sure it deserves a new thread - 9 Yellows for me today. 8 x C1. 1 x C2. What's the most anyone else has had?

    5-4 first report

CC'd in on an email over the weekend where a 5-4 has got an 86.... Anyone seen anything like it? Sounds extremely high!

Impressive! Well done. What county FA are you under?

    5-4 first report

Spoke to a 6-5 today under Middlesex FA. He said they do not get told when an observer is coming and only after the game will they know. Does this sound right?!

    Ball hits me

Wish players would learn that they get to keep the ball. Every game I get "shall I kick it back ref"

    5-4 Promotion seminar

I don't mind ultimately, worth asking though. I shall be at Gloucester FA one I think. Anyone else planning on going to that?

    5-4 Promotion seminar

As a level 6 I went to Dorchester from Andover which was 1H30 each way/ 65 miles.. for an U18 line. I got £20 and no fuel. Happy to do it but was trying to avoid it if I could :D

    5-4 Promotion seminar

My county FAs online seminar was moved to a date I couldn't do. They have so far only offered alternatives at in person seminars with different FAs all over 2H drives from me. Is anyone aware of any online seminars happening within their local FA that I could tag onto and complete?

    Southampton Penalty

Walker gets his body across and Saints player comes through the back for me, he's never in possession there. No pen

    LIV vs CHE

IF he hadn’t of moved his hand. Are you giving a penalty? I agree with the penalty, and the red but only because of what appeared to be the deliberate movement towards the ball.

    Cards during a friendly

My pre match instructions to coaches/captains for friendlies are along the lines of: Yellows I will manage where possible, reds are reds. Cards will be submitted to the local FA. Most accept this and understand I will do what is required whilst also letting everyone have a good run out. Seems...

    Promotion News

Still waiting on an announcement from Berks & Bucks FA. Covid aside this seems well behind other county FAs?

    Seen on Twitter…

Expert referee media analyst! My conclusion is that without context the yellow appears to be harsh but it’s perfectly acceptable within the laws of the game. I wouldn’t be shocked if the player has omitted a few important details either!

    Seen on Twitter…

Unsure of teams or level. Context appears to be ball flagged for going out of play, player then passes to team mate after whistle (not sure on duration) second yellow for kicking ball away… Seems very harsh to me.
