TBH I was just amused by his comments and not at all upset which probably explains my delayed thinking about cards.
His team were fine all game and nonplussed as to his comments.

I've been appointed as AR for a Sunday Shield final and whilst no fee payable, Suffolk FA are giving us a full kit instead. Happy with that although I just think they don't want me wearing ny pink/purple shirt 🤣

It's true though, so many "foul throw" and "in the back ref" shouts over the last few weeks, youth and adult, none of which are actually foul throws or a shove in the back!
I said to him I was expecting a match coach session but he was adamant it was an observation. Very experienced observer too (L3 ref) so will have to wait and see.
I had my 1st 7-6 observation yesterday, I thought it was a coaching visit but its a full observation. Didn't go too well as got shin splints half way through and was a bit off my normal standard, let an obvious yellow go and didn't deal with some persistent fouling. Let's see what the report...
