Claims to be a referee by manager

Agree with Ginger, don't fret over it. Yes you should have booked him so learn and apply from now on. So that next time, you're confident in applying law

    Dissent (too lenient)

Seems a good call for dissent to me. One thing though, I'd advise against saying "next time it's red" as you are kind of commiting yourself. I'd use " don't make me make a decision" or something like that.

Should I include in dismissal report

Yeah I have, accused of bias by manager of an U18 team who lost a game I reffed because I used to coach U16 team who played them a few times ... Ridiculous 🤣

Should I include in dismissal report

Yep, red card for me every time. How you got your fee!

    Heated match, derogative comments

Sounds a challenging match but handled it well

    Throw Ins

Agreed. I can't remember the last foul throw I gave, my quote is " you'd be amazed at what a legal throw can look like!"

    Anthony Taylor - You're a record breaker!!!

Yes some (very) soft yellows there, but nice to see a couple of dissent yellows too. 2 red, 3 yellow is my worst/best card count

    Forest v Wolves

Just goes to show how confusing the hb law is now, especially in penalty area. Me? Wood is a hb/pen.
  9. cooperd5

    What are you giving here?

Agreed. First look for me I thought it was high enough up the arm to not be HB. I see on review again it's arm but wow, he's got no chance. Good decision and correct I suppose but it's getting more difficult

    Womens ENG V ROI

England got a penalty 2nd half, looked nailed on DOGSO to me but she only got a yellow. Anyone else see this and have an opinion?

    NED V ENG Euro SF

I'm team "no pen" but that gif earlier certainly makes it less solid. Not complaining, about time we had a slice of luck

    Spain V Germany

What is the handball law trying to achieve? That's the Q IFAB need to ask and then make law fit that objective
  15. cooperd5

    Spain V Germany

It's time HB law rewritten, I'd have given it as his arm is away from body (I know, I know!) but only cos law is really not fit for purpose. I can also see why it wasn't given as well....but in real time I said "pen"

    GER DEN

Time to switch off VAR 😁

    GER DEN

pen? Not for me, arm in natural position.....

    CRO ITA

He'll have plenty of paperwork to do after all those yellows.... !

Knee in the back of the leg means pen to me.

    SCO HUN

Agreed 👍 Dire game, poor officials but fine finish at the end. Hope the Hungarian striker is ok.
