Something I noticed about this goal which I haven't seen anyone else mention
No question the original ball across was offside but ignoring that, after Zaha shot it hits another Palace player who is over the goal line. Goal given to Zaha as ball was already in before hitting the other player
To...
The first incident doesn't look like a foul(cant tell if an elbow was used from video) although he possibly should of stopped as it was a head injury.
The second incident should of been a red card as he clearly swings at the player. Also a couple of yellows for the two players in white. The...
Match last night as assistant
Player ran through on goal went round the keeper and had all the time in the world. He proceeds to go down on his knees and roll the ball in with his head. Goal given and no complaints from anyone.
What is the correct thing to do here? I seem to remember someone...
I think purely for entertainment reasons it would never happen
Pundits could argue for hours about a decision but with a ref there they would ask him, he would say whether the ref was right or wrong and that would be the end of that
I've been selected to referee in a Premier League Festival next weekend:D
Massive shock to get something like this.
Has anyone ever done one of these before? If so what are they like?

Could of had 2 on Monday but dont have time to get away from uni
I am also going to be knackered
I want to buy these flags from A&H
http://www.referee-equipment.co.uk/Catalogue/Flags/Touchline-Flags/TLINE-Full-Set---Premier-FSB-PL
They are currently out of stock.
Is there anywhere else I can buy them or will I need to hope they get more in stock soon?
This has never happened to me but it was an incident I thought of and I don't know what would be acceptable.
If there was a player who had English as their second language. You give a decision against them and they say something in their first language. Presuming you don't also speak their...
I don't know if this applys to every county but in ours we were told that Whole Game only needs to be used to report discipline. If there were no cards during the game then you do not need to submit the match to Whole Game
Please do not take my word on this but I don't think you can give a foul as it happened off the pitch? I seem to remember reading a scenario like this and the answer was no foul. I am probably wrong though
Everything that could of possibly gone wrong off the pitch happened today.
Had two games. The first an U11 Cup semi final and then an U12 Cup semi final
Arrived at the first game slightly later than I would of liked which meant there was absolutely no car parking spaces. After about 10 minutes...
If I ever got the chance to work in Gibraltar I would jump at the opportunity and ref over there.
Brilliant weather
Only 2 leagues
Not a huge amount of officials so not much competition meaning a better chance of becoming a FIFA referee (when Gibralter referees are eventually allowed to be part...
