    Merseyside Derby

Exactly ! Why make them wait for the whistle and take their advantage away. The one I saw on the TV was played short !

    Soft shin pads?

I think we have a duty of care to the players, and should be able to stop a player playing if they don't where appropriate shinguards. The same as jewellery

    Soft shin pads?

IMO the governing bodies should have banned the tiny ones that the likes of Grealish where, ages ago. It only takes a tackle like Soucek's this evening to cause a very nasty injuryry

    Serbia vs England

I think you've added an image to suit your own argument lol. I would suggest at the point of contact (see here) he was well clear of the defenders and would have had an "obvious" goalscoring opportunity !

    Serbia vs England

Surely, even outside the left of the penalty area, is still a goalscoring opportunity for an international player

    Serbia vs England

It's a DOGSO for me. I'm sure he could have chopped it inside and had a shot

    Walking Football?

..and i'm slower than you think !

    Walking Football?

There's a remote chance I might be able to keep up with play with that ! ;)

    CHE vs FUL

Problem is, you can't tell these days whether the player is genuinely injured or just faking it

    Open Age Young referee threatened

Problem with "friendlies" is that as the players aren't registered to a team / league yet, you often get suspended players playing games as "trialists" just to make up the numbers. Plus they think the ref isn't going to caution / send players off because "it's just a friendly, ref !"

Junior/Youth Brain fog after half time.

You get so focused on reffing the game with the teams playing in one direction, that when they switch round it can throw you. It still happens to me after many years. I now constantly say to myself at the start of the 2nd half things like "reds playing towards the clubhouse"...or "blues playing...

    CHE vs FUL

I don't like that skill, where they pivot over the ball and land with their back to the player with a stamping action. They know exactly what doing and his trailing leg was a long way from the ball. I think this could have gone either way with the on field decision, but it certainly wasn't a...

    Grimsby V Man United

Yeah, joking aside, isn't he just dangling a leg out and trying to cut out a pass

    Grimsby V Man United

I'd suggest it's offside purely on the basis it's a shocking piece of ball control 😀

    Fulham vs Utd

Lame excuse for smashing it over the bar
  16. B

    Leeds v Everton

I don't agree he kept it as close to his body as possible, though. A player at that level knows the shot is imminent and could have moved it totally behind his back, like his team mates around him did
  17. B

    Leeds v Everton

Yep, because they've tried to chest it and got it wrong...or deliberately left it there in the hope the ref doesn't see it
  18. B

    Leeds v Everton

    😀
  19. B

    Leeds v Everton

Exactly ! He knows what he's doing. He knew the shot was coming and could easily have moved his arm another couple of inches behind his back (like his team mates did). IMO having his arm by his side is unnatural
  20. B

    Leeds v Everton

Isn't pinning his arm to his body unnatural ?
