Not sure what the "rules" (laws) analyst is talking about. Nothing in the provision for stopping the game talks about which team kicked the ball or GSOs (it wasn't a GSO right away anyway) - simply that a serious injury should mean play is stopped right away.
Watched this incident yesterday: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/videos/c07d540jv42o
My first thought was why didn't the referee stop the game? I've had incidents just like this and the advice from this forum and observer was to stop the game for things like this. The player isn't moving!
Too many probably explains it - I'd welcome them actually enforcing the "no 2 in 2" rule and maybe consider making officials choose a pathway. Some 4's who are 3W have rubbish attitudes towards women's matches.
I just see all the support and development 4's get and think 3W/2W would benefit...
Thinking aloud a bit here but given the Women's pathway jumps from County level to National League - it's a bit contentious that there's no induction for new level 3Ws? Or even existing ones to refresh standards/embed new expectations. Especially given all the changes the game is going through...
But you wouldn't punish it if the keeper kicks it off a player making an effort to retreat, as all the defenders are, but they're still in the way for the first few seconds so he cannot release it.
Sorry both but as a former keeper I think you've got this wrong. There are still defending and attacking players in his box for a few seconds after he has stood up and could prevent him releasing the ball. So entirely possible it's only 9 seconds before the referee blows from when you could...
Just think of all the observers who can pick you up on not having the arm straight enough! ;)
How are we dealing with benches/players counting down out loud? I'm thinking stepped approach and treat it as dissent
This honestly makes me sad to read, having met Sam at a Wilts FA event, he seemed very human and approachable in a way some PGMOL officials have not.
But it's also true the whole way down the pyramid where I have met some anxious officials who are being fast tracked. Excellent referees, better...
If you aren't a 3W anymore then you'll need to speak to your CFA as they put people forward to the WNL to be ARs.
That will almost certainly be the case since 3W's are reselected each season and you said you've been out for a while.
I have not, although when I used it before for other purposes it was a bit uncomfortable.
Has anyone used something like the puma shirt? My worry is that pocket isn’t deep or tight enough to hold it in
Are there any alternatives to this nifty base layer with pockets for buzzer flag units?

The straps give me a rash so I’m tempted!
