Not to sound like a total stickler but this is where there are issues when we give a decision that is expected in the English game like not giving HB in this situation. Really not a fan of europe and us having different interpretations of the laws and one has to give way to the other I think.
Had this offside decision in my game last night. Was more than happy that the player was in an offside position but questioning based off this angle if he has actually impacted the keeper. You can see where I was at the end of the clip probably should have been a little bit wider.
I know that our RDO has always been pretty much like that and I think its the ex-army in him. I don't see an issue with the badges but would probably stay away from wearing the glasses just in case you get hit in the face with the ball, but as James said sports glasses might stop this risk...

Had the weirdest reaction when saying that exact thing once from a fan this season. Got the shout of "You can't be coaching their back line Lino" but I think no harm ever comes from it and gives you a bit more rapport with the shouty centre backs.
I had to use it the last few seasons before I got promoted and must say I liked it a lot more that yesref, especially with the fact you open your dates instead of closing them. Probably because I very often picked up games due to officials forgetting to close their open dates.
Wouldn't...

So I always check the IFAB app at the start of the season for law changes and then most counties do a law change presentation at the start of a season.
I also get a lot of it from here as that’s where most of the experts like to give their thoughts
Once we get to Level 4 to have any chance of doing well we have to complete a LOTG exam online which is composed of 5 clip analysis questions and 10 written questions. This is all multiple choice but is nearly always written in a way to make you think.
Anything below L4 where you are a...
I don't so much praise the players, but if it's a good tempered game and the striker has made a terrible choice when through on goal, I'll usually say "what the f*** has he done there" to the closest teammate and that usually gets a chuckle.
Pick the players carefully tho some will not see the...
If you are cautioning the striker, I'm running over the logistics of the order of sanction. Obviously normally you go more severe sanction first but in an already hard to sell situation like this would anyone consider the caution for the striker first? Otherwise I can imagine there will be a lot...

Honestly, with how the law was written I am not surprised we didn’t even make it 1 month into the season before the first “controversy”.
As I said before strictly by law you were right in the video. But what you said you are doing now will cause far less headaches for you. Regardless of the...

Would make for a great news headline though "Referee suspended for match fixing over online 'RefChat' competition"
I did my own count while watching this and even then I was between 4/3 left so would probably agree that the referee on this game needs a bit of additional guidance regarding this. Will be tough for him if that's the speed he is doing all season.
Edit: Strictly speaking from the moment he...
