Today was my first middle in a month, due to injury!

Was a fairly decent game footballing-wise but I'm so happy to be back again! Got assessed and he was pretty happy although we were both annoyed/upset at one of the AR's!

All in all, I had a pretty decent game with only one caution, after 20ish minutes. A great laugh with the players which aided match control so much! Should receive assessment mid-week and I'm hoping for 72-75 region and I'll be delighted! Onto Tuesday's & Thursday's lines, before Saturday & Tuesday's middles!!

Oh dear. Just picked up another game, smack bang in the middle! A crunch local derby in the middle on Weds! My body is not going to forgive me...!
 
It's getting to that time of year again. Sure I saw on twitter someone had 5 games in 8 days or summit like that

By the end of this weekend, I will have done 5 games in 7 days (ref 3, play 2), and will be going to a local academy on the 8th day to see about refereeing there! (not on that day though!) I don't mind it being busy though, much better than when they were all called off!

That's the kind of schedule I want tbh. Would love to run the line only ever done it as a club assistant

Try asking your referee's secretary for a game as an appointed assitant. I am sure they'll be able to sort you something out!
 
Try the Anglian Combination League they use linesman on prem games as it appears to be supply.
 
6 games, 10 days, 4 of which are Supply middles. I am SO excited to go away w/end of 19/20 Apr and relax! Body will need it!

Seen a few guys with similarly hectic schedules.

Arran, I'd happily swap - far easier on body to be on line numerous times than middle!

See I think it's easier on the body to do middles, crabbing can do horrible things to the body :)

it seems 22nd will now have to be the soak in a hot bath with a beer day! just been appointed two games in the middle on 14th and 21st as well as 4th official on sunday league cup final on 12th may :D
