It's a foul, looked like contact with the player to get to the ball, but hard to tell after 4 cans of Holsten Pils. Be even harder to tell if there's another one in the second half :confused:

Remember, England are not liked... attention was briefly drawn to the USA by Trump and Infant, but we're back in the hot seat

Still don't think Gordon fits his Barca move, but Mags should've waited til after the WC the way it's going.
Would got a few more quid to balance the books

But if he scores the winner, I’ll love him


Also, Norway player scored a lucky cross and then stood there with his arms out like he scored a worldy. That’s annoying.

Finally, interesting decision by Infantino to sit with Norwegian royalty. Is there precedence for that? Or is it another case of him just not really caring about bias theories

Unkel not very convincing when she was brought in for the push/second Norway goal. Didn't seem to know it would have been a retake or at least give the impression she knew
 
Clear delaying the restart ignored, moved to balk and Bellingham gave them time to retreat.

Bellingham took it from the correct blade of grass, Turpin indicated it was the wrong position
 
Long time reader, first time poster. Seeing as I'm from Norway I am of course biased in some of these decisions. I was just wondering if your broadcoast showed the controversy before the English goal.

Nyland takes a goal kick which hits the wire above the ground stopping the ball well short of the expected landing place and England goes straight in attack. I'm quite sure VAR doesn't have a protocol for what I would think would be a dropped ball, but seemed like a bad miss for the refereeing team.

Why would VAR differentiate on whether the ball was in play on this? Whether the standard would be different for a defender versus an attacker is a separate question.

Based on the replays I saw, this looks like a pretty clear foul. Well, wait, it isn't a foul since the ball wasn't in play. but . . .
