Hi all,

Was just wondering what the kit situation is next year for grassroots. Understand that it's not that important to either CFA or anyone watching / playing etc... but it's important to me as I like to stay up to date with this sort of stuff... to a point.

I'm all kitted out for Nike as it stands. CFA/Nike coat, trousers for special games, socks, shorts, shirts and extra colours, bag. And that has cost a few hundred quid.

I'm wondering in the FA's ideal world (far far away) where everyone can wear the correct kit at grassroots, would they want Nike 26-30 or join the PGMOL with Puma (assume if that's the case it'll be their grassroots stuff not the pro DNA)? I'm willing to make the switch only if I can find everything I need for a decent price though, because I do have a LOT of Nike kit for the level I'm at.

PS. been able to avoid being called a full kit... yet.

Cheers.

At county level they are not bothered what kit you wear. If you run a line on a Step 5/6 game or the FA competitions then it's Nike. In regards to the current or new Nike kit that is the question we are all awaiting for.. Puma is PGMO.

In short the FA has an agreement with Nike
PGMO has a deal with Puma.

I think a lot will depend on if Nike stay on beyond 2030 as the England national team kit provider. Its clear The FA like these things to be aligned, so I can see them sticking with Nike on the refereeing side if England stay with Nike
