How often do you dish out sinbin yellow?

I think you may be able to answer your own question. When did the sin bins come during the game & what happened afterwards eg did they comply for the reminder of the game etc
I dont have them now as I operate at a level when they aren't in use and in the small number of games that I do where they are I've had no occasion too.
Sin bins don't necessarily indicate anything.
For example in the year I got promoted, granted sin bins were new and so I think there's probably an expectancy that more would be issued I had done a 1/3 (6/18) of sin bins in the league, because I chose to use the tools that were available to me not because I couldn't control the players or a match.

Each game is different. You can only judge by player behaviour on the day.
For me you can't tell by how many sin bins you give. Don't give many, they will say you are too soft. Give a high number, the you are too card happy.
I personally don't like to give many and prefer to try and manage, but when they cross my higher threshold or leave me with no option then they are fair game.
The question you need to ask is more for your match control in general. If you feel comfortable the temperature of your games, then you probably have it about right. If its high towards you before you issue the sin bin and doesn't change then you need to up it. On the flip side. If it increases, after you give a sin bin, then may be you are giving too many.

There was one game last season where I gave 3 cautions for dissent (2 to the same player so only 2 were sinbins really). In that game I really had no choice as it was blatant dissent, the game was getting very feisty, and in all honesty I'd lost control slightly. I also sent someone off for OFFINABUS in that game.
Equally there are games where I don't even have to think about giving any. Sometimes pulling the player to one side and using the stepped approach is far more effective than jumping straight to a caution. Other times a caution is the only way to maintain control.
