Im not sold on red.
I've not seen the previous 18 or so minutes so dont know the temperature of the game (commentator, in one video seen, said something like he needs to get control of the game).
Its reckless. Definitely. Serious foul play? No quite sure.
Only good thing i like about it was that he didnt go rushing in with a red. He took his time.

Nothing in the game before this

Definitely an orange card for me
 
Hell of a decision to make in real time, took me until the last view to see the issue, happy with a red card on that final viewing. Well done Ref 👏👏👏
 
A yellow card for me, looked like a scissor tackle from one angle but not from the other angle.

Most referees would have evened up the teams with a second yellow card to Oxford’s Spencer in 2H SPA. Manager immediately subbed him. ;)
 
I'm comfortable with red there, there's no doubt it was a lunge and he appeared to lunge towards the opponent rather than the ball.
