What is your most red cards in a single game?
Think mine stands at 5, where 3 of them were second yellows (and 2 literal leg breaks, straight reds, and 2 of the 2nd yellows coming from the 2nd leg break melee). Dont think ive hit 6.

But could anyone beat 23?
This is what happened in Brazil last night.

Think I'd be at 2 or maybe 3 on a sunday league game... not sure.

Is there any value in showing 23 red cards?

They weren't shown on the pitch apparently. I'd be interested to see how the game resumed after this (if indeed it did)

I did wonder.
Safest option is abandonment.
Second safest option it a free kick.
Nuclear option is a penalty.

Probably one of the wildest things ever seen on a football pitch!

What is the correct option? (Assuming we have 7 or more left from each side)

Subjective. Fourth option is it's full time.

If I think the game is safe to restart then I'm going free kick for challenging keeper when in control of the ball.

Per a story in The Athletic, the game did not restart and no cards were shown on the field. (Oh, and Hulk said it was all the referee's fault . . . .)
