Strangest thing you've seen happen during a game

Following my clanger thread, hats the strangest thing you've seen happen during a game.

Mine would be OA game. Fairly heated. I hadn't lost control of it, but you know that feeling when the next few challenges made could make or break where a game is going and I was inclined to believe it was going to get tasty. Goal kick drops in the centre circle in there is a kid of about three there. Dunno how no one mentioned it. Everyone stops and he burst into tears. The second anyone got near him he's wailing. Only person he'll go near is me! So quick scan around the area for a frantic looking parent but couldn't see anyone. So I end up walking this little kid off the pitch and towards the clubhouse which was about 200 yards away to try and find who he belonged to. Half way there a parent comes up, thanking me. So I trot back to the match, cue a fair amount of smiles and laughter from everyone playing and on the sidelines. Somehow the whole incident seemed to really calm everything down and we finished up the last half hour with a really competitive game played in really good spirit.

Maybe for future games I'll bring my daughter on and get her to totter on if things start heating up!

Once stopped a game as I saw someone walking off with my bag. Ran after him and got it back. Then got a load of abuse coz I stopped the game just to get my bag.

I once had tournament and a bloody great dog ran onto the pitch mid play, quite funny to be honest, it's not that often you get a streaker as hairy as that

player just about to take a throw-in half way inside his own half.

school secretary, female, in heels, suddenly appears in front of him and starts to walk across the pitch to deliver a message to the coach of the home team, who is stood on the other side of the pitch, seemingly completely oblivious to what was going on around her. i asked her, politely, if she could possibly walk round the pitch on her way back.

if anyone has seen 'Field of Dreams' it was very reminiscent of a scene in that.
