Censorship
Seems to be getting up everyone's backsides with weekly opinions that create good content for some wannabes.
Every week, he has to have a say on a decision that some fans dont like. And 99% of the time his opinion goes against the match officials giving more scope for fans to ridicule referees.
Why doesnt he just be quiet and enjoy retirement?

He even said to someone they may be suffering from dementia as someone recalled him being on an Arsenal game against Leeds and he denied it....
Then up comes proof.
Sounded condescending too with adding "pal" on the end.

The Ref Stop
Same as I've said for ages, he will almost always say the opposite to what the referee did, even if that means contradicting himself over the course of the season. He clearly has a serious beef with PGMO and will bring that out at every opportunity.

That said, if he just agreed with refereeing decisions no one would pay him for his opinions so I can kind of understand it. Graham Scott is one to keep an eye on, he was a journalist before he was a referee, is very well spoken and appears to say what he thinks rather than what he thinks people want to hear.

Absolutely agree with you about Graham Scott. He writes for a few organisations including Substack which until recently I had never heard of. Although not a Referee but a commentator and also very good is Clive Tyldesley.

Substack's just a hosting platform that you can monetise with subscriptions, etc.

OnlyFans for blogs, in essence. Probably the same amount of tits.

Putting this slightly back on topic..

Even Clattenburg is now getting in on the action...
Already have Dermot on Sky...
Now waiting on Graham Poll to wade in.

Clattenburg has done referee commentary for ages, both on TV and in newspaper columns, as has Poll. I do have some sympathy, as retired referees they probably don't have much income, and didn't earn a huge amount when they were active. If broadcasters and publishers came to them we want your opinion but it has to be punchy, don't always agree with the referee's decision, I can see why that wouldn't be easy to turn down.
