I’m curious what people are averaging in the LOTG quizzes? Some of the questions are a little tricky/hard to find answers too. Am I the only one not making 100% on all of them?

Agree on this. Last season it showed us which we answered that were wrong. This season you have to redo the test and it shows you the answers after the second time (at least a month later obv) by which time you can't always remember which you put first time around. No your not - the aim of them is to make you think. Some very unusual situations arise in the videos and text. What would help is if they showed you which questions you got wrong instead of having to re-do the test to see the corret answer..![]()
It would technically be wrong to call those LOTG questions.I tend to get 1 or 2 'wrong' usually on the clips that involve subjective decisions.
That's what I was thinking, unless it is a written question where you justify your answer no exam question should have multiple possible answers. And the use of the word subjective can only really mean that multiple answers are possible. It would technically be wrong to call those LOTG questions.
You’re right. The only video that’s really annoyed me was the one where the throw in went bizarrely more or less straight up before landing on the field. The ‘correct’ answer for that, was apparently that it was a legal throw in … despite the fact that it was clearly taken in the wrong half around 5m from where the ball went out of playMost of the video questions are very clear, of the type - Goalkeeper holding it for 12 seconds, Goalkeeper attempting to kick a bass pack in to play and then handling it, nailed on DOGSO situations, SFP straight leg lunges with considerable force and intensity

Nonetheless they still can't be classified as lotg questions unless they come with a description of sorts that speaks lotg language. For instance the SFP example says blue4 tackles yellow10 with excessive force on the blue penalty area line. Then the question asks for sanction and restart. Most of the video questions are very clear, of the type - Goalkeeper holding it for 12 seconds, Goalkeeper attempting to kick a bass pack in to play and then handling it, nailed on DOGSO situations, SFP straight leg lunges with considerable force and intensity
@reffl95 knows. If you have the IFAB app, a lot of the questions are actually taken from there, so you can find the answers relatively easily. Given that there is no time limit, it's essentially an open book exam, so I'd use all resources available to you to ensure you're getting 100%

If you're on about the one I'm thinking of... I still don't know if this is considered a legal throw in or whether it was the fact that the opposition immediately won the ball and began an attack... and as we know the IFAB Q&A suggests we can play advantage from a non-legal throw in.You’re right. Wot, you'd swear?!, but in reality the actual outcome would be 'you f*ck off back down there and take the throw in where the ball actually went out, and you don't be stupid and get yourself sent off over something so little... crack on'.

You can adjust to specific law number...but not sure we'll ever get a search engineJust needs an A-Z or a Search Engine now![]()
