That's like saying we might as well get rid of red cards higher up the ladder, as if a player walks off, they've clearly been sent off. Cards were brought in as a communication tool. Nothing wrong with adding/adapting.
My main objection would be extra cost to referees. It's already an expensive hobby without adding more kit

I have never seen a thread fully stay on topic

Aditionally, I've not had a cup game go to extra time (or straight PKs, use both in NL)
I did nearly do a Graham Scott and not send off after 2x YC before realising that he'd swapped shirts with a teammate at half time

I've never seen someone confuse Graham Scott with Graham Poll 😇

Never had a PSO go to a second round.

Has anyone? (Here I mean)
Had my first one just last month. Both keepers went last and made it 8-8, then thankfully both teams started with their original #1 taker: one missed, one scored. Was standing there thinking... I can't remember if taker 11 can be taker 12 or not :D Was a long, long night. Think I'm still there.

I HAVE had the following which I doubt has happened in many games:

Sin binned a GK at Step 6, before the recent change so he came back on as an outfield player until the ball next went out.

He went up front, ball stayed in play for about a minute or so and he scored what proved to be the winning goal!

Keep thread on topic pls 😉

Can confirm this never happened in any games I have been involved in 🤣

No, but I was involved in what I would have thought (without checking any records) would go down as one of the worst shootouts in FA Cup history (after ET too) earlier this season.

IIRC, a penalty was missed in normal time, then in the shootout 3 were scored from 9 attempts (and in all of the not scored penalties I think the keepers only made 1 save between them)

I was in charge of a penalty shoot out where the kicks were so bad we lost all 3 match balls. Had to delay whilst people went to get the balls out of the river behind the stand.
