Master class in refereeing for me.
Let the game flow. Didn’t fall for cheap fouls.
Even the penalty was a handball.

I was really impressed.

Yeah nothing to complain about both semis for me. Great games, referees did well.

~Time for our yearly guess for the final. Think Letexier might get it this year, who else is on the shortlist?~

Alot of people thought the pen was harsh but for me I think it is handball, arm well away from the body, may only clip his hand but in Europe that gets given every time.
 
I thought it’s harsh, but once VAR called him over he had to give it.

The game management was a ref masterclass. Didn’t blow for every little contact. Didn’t fall for the falling over from the gentlest of touches.

For the final prediction: Kovacs or Oliver the obvious choices following the patterns of appointments this season. Excellent semis for both refs

Would love to see Oliver get it, especially for Mr Burt who works alongside him and I know well, but I've a feeling they may go elsewhere, although maybe an English Europa league final and Chelsea in the Conference league final opens the door for them to get the Champs League final.

Kovacs in CL, Letexier in EL, and I guess Peijto in the ECL.
