WEEK 31 REVIEW
Dan Burn, teek a boo son! In a week where your beloved competition organiser forgot that Scottish football exists, we had the Steel City derby, a trio of PL fixtures plus the Carabao Cup Final (with double points on the line). Relatively straight-forward and predictable wins for United, Arsenal, Fulham and the other United didn't trip many people up, with just a couple going for potential upsets (or the cowardly draw). League leader James, however, dropped an almighty bollock and that was before the fun and games at Wembley where we all had a 'mare apart from Ant & Dec & RefX.
Wizzy got the bonus xG game spot on (2.73) and takes the maximum 11 points there, filtering down to 3 as only nine people entered with the bottom two having an agonising stalemate of not bothering. The BadmintonBanter Umpire Forums await for 25/26.
The Rusty Plate was postponed, so I'll try that again in a couple of weeks when the FA Cup quarter-finals roll round. Only change in the table sees Wizzy leapfrog James back to the top... One really closes the gap to second... and Exxy has his sights on the top half.
It's an international week, sorry about that. Even Burton Albion v Wigan Athletic is off. Games gone.
