WEEK 20 REVIEW

A good strong week across the board, with half of us going 3/5 and the others 4/5, though Josh was the only person to score from Spurs-Wolves. We all went home win apart from Josh who hit the 2-2 for an impressive 12 points. James also got a 12 for the Leeds win at Derby, with Gabz also getting a treble (6). City, Liverpool and Leeds were away wins for all of us, while the late Portuguese game had the majority on the fence going for a draw between the top two (or 1st v 3rd as it ended up by the time the fixture came round I think), and four players had the home win but only got a single point each. Holby (15) and Josh (21) set weekly PBs. Weekly record still stands with ES1 (31, Week 9). One and Holby lead the way with 52 correct results each. League leader Wizzy has 12 trebles, next best is James on 10. Over the 20 weeks we've had ten 15-pointers. Wizzy and James have two each, while Gabz, Josh and RefX are yet to bag one, the rest have 1 each.

In the bonus game, Brenden Aaronson scored (a superb goal) for Leeds as did Windy Joshass for Wednesday. 5 points for Holby and James respectively. Bayo (Watford) and Sainz (Norwich) played and failed to score (-5 pts for four of you), while Mason-Clark and Campbell weren't in their matchday squads and Callum Lang played less than half-hour (0 pts). Sainz's blank costs Gabz 4th spot and he slips back to 6th, and the only other change is Navy slipping to the foot of the table after missing a week and Josh having his best one so far.

WEEK 21 FIXTURES

Sunday 5th January 2025
• Fulham v Ipswich
• Sunderland v Portsmouth
• Liverpool v Manchester Utd
• PSG v Monaco (Trophee des Champions)
• Roma v Lazio

Bonus Round
• To play this week's bonus DM me the name of another player. If you score more points than them this week over the fixtures then you will STEAL 5 points from them. If you score less than your selected player, your attempted theft is discovered and you will LOSE 5 points to that player as punishment. Don't have to enter if you don't want to, but it won't stop you potentially being targetted. ENTER BY DM ONLY. WON'T BE CHASING ANYONE UP.
For transparency, I'll pick my player using a random number generator at 2 pm on Sunday (the deadline) and post it in this thread.

Your best bonus idea yet

So, say I pick Xy and Xy picks me, and Xy beats me in the points as he is a bigger theif than I am 😆 (pre Bonus I assume), does that mean he steals 10 of my points?

Also would there be a net zero, I steal from someone but also get robbed by someone else?

Yep, correct on both counts!

Head-to-head points taken purely from the five match predictions, then I’ll work out all the +/- 5 after that.

Bonus game inspired by watching Home Alone over Christmas 😂

That’s a full-house. Fingers crossed everything goes ahead. have a back-up plan in games do fall foul of the weather, but we’ll cross that bridge if we come to it.

Everyone’s picked someone to try and burgle. Three people have been targeted by two others, and three of you have escaped target.

All shall be revealed! 🤞🏻
