Had the Villa player not then threw himself to the ground in a theatrical manner, then he may have been awarded a penalty following sustained holding.You could argue they were both guilty of pulling & shirt holding, I suspect both referee & VAR deemed it was 50/50 on holding & pulling?

Not a chance because the VAR thought the holding was fleeting and had no impact on play and the referee didn't thought anything of it either.
I'm not sure how it's not a penalty, it's clear hes dragging his arm with force and it's slowing the attackers momentum, the attacker going to ground should be irrelevant, it's a clear foul which the referee would give right away elsewhere on the pitch but as we all know, the rules are different when it happens in the 18 yard box.
And they agreed in 2023 to move the ball contract to Puma for the 2025/26 season, they don't have a chip either.

I'm not Martinez's biggest fan and I think he's overrated, but that was an insanely good save.

And Gary L said it’s one of the best saves he has ever seen and he has seen and played with and against many of the greats. People have to see it a full speed to see how good it was. It’s not just his reaction but his technique including after he has saved it so that the ball doesn’t cannon off him back towards the goal.

The VAR, as they do now, picks the frame where the ball was played.
The line drawing is usually the major delay.
As ever the PGMO had to go there own way.

Well if he can't see this ball that he is looking straight at then it's the best save I've ever seen a blind man make.
He can't see it when he claws it back and has to manoeuvre his body over it and hold it....
