The Ref Stop

Brentford v Bournemouth

Censorship. Dictatorship
Got to ask, why do referees book the keeper for taking their time at goal kicks once and ignore it after that?
Bournemouth keeper timed at 36 seconds before being cautioned to take a kick, yet 2 further kicks took 33 and 35 seconds. The card didn't really deter them, did it?

Some positives from the referee. 2 cautions for player and coach waving cards for oppo to be booked. But missed Brentford attacker falling to floor for a penalty, which was an easy card.
Missed a few fouls too.

Don't think he had a good game, but wasn't exactly a bad one. Just confused about allowing the keeper to keep wasting time.
Yes it's entertainment and no one wants to see a red, but it'll take a red, especially on a keeper, to stop it.

Oh, c’mon. He showed the yellow once, so everyone knows he cares. No need to do more after that. We all know that the yellow card means “OK, I did this once, so you can do almost anything you want now.”
