Well on my last birthday I had lots of cards. I did count them and the number was 36! I don't mean to brag. But my word what a jolly day!



Couldn't resist.

Wasn't it @Aled who said he used the line about a Christmas card while officiating at that period?

That's me It was something like - "Let's not go getting any early Christmas cards today!" Used it from about mid-November onwards till Christmas. Worked 9 times out of 10.
BTW I've copyrighted it so if any of you gits use it and I find out somehow I'll see you in court!
