The Ref Stop

Brentford v Tottenham

Censorship. Dictatorship
David Coote in charge.

Tanganga has committed about 4 or 5 fouls now, and no visible sign of a chat to him about any of then, surely he is bordering on the persistent infringement line here.
Also, how many times is he going to get in the way of attacks/passes in the final third? I've counted numerous times he's had to move out of the way with being too close to play around the edge of the box. I think Mee even pulled him away from the ball on one attack so that he can get to it. He is running in a straight line from the semi circle to semi circle directly through the centre circle (too many circles mentioned here lol).

And, in my opinion, missed a fair few fouls too.

Xmas hangover?

I watched a bit of this and his movement was odd.

As far as I can recall, the penalty arc has been referred to informally as "the D" in the UK for a long, long time now. Don't think the Americans had anything to do with it.

I've known it as the D for nearly 40 years which is possibly before America discovered football! 😂
