Bcfc v bfc Tuesday night. Apparently the 4th official was taken ill halfway through the 2nd half and a tanoy announcement went out asking for any level 3 or above referees in the crowd, next thing you see is a guy in a pair of jeans holding up the board!!! Random

You remember correctly indeed!
Leyton Orient vs Notts County last season. Lee Collins went down injured, I did 25 mins as 4th man! Was thoroughly enjoyable too

Yup. Was there as guest of one AR. Never heard a call for Level3+, normally 4 as we're 'in the system' if you like
