Someone’s got a refs whistle in the crowd..

Always wondered why people have never snuck them into grounds before, use it wisely in the crowd close to the pitch & it could cause chaos.

I have a place in my heart for Belgium played a few tournaments there as a kid got chased round Bruge by the local firm at 16, lovely little place Bruge.

Not sure why he didnt call the foul when Hazard got tripped just outside the box. Looked pretty clear. Then when Hazard CRUSHED French player coming in late 30 seconds later. Could've been YC for that one. Very late and brutal hit

I still do it occasionally feel like a right numpty & hope nobody spots it.

Reflections..... I really thought Belgium would win. Mbappe.... he is very talented, very quick and wise/mature (decision making. Not the silly YC for dribbling away after the whistle). Great keeping by both keepers. Lukaku.... vanished in the game. Really hurt them. Good soccer to watch. Well refereed although I think he missed the foul on Hazard which would've been a dangerous chance.

At this point it seems to have become an accepted part of the game to waste time. I don't think we can single out refs for falling for anything. If anything, a ref that did stamp down on time wasting would be the outlier here.
