    US v Bosnia

To me, it stinks. Politics, politicians need to get away from football. It has really put quite the shadow on the tournament.

    Mex v Eng

Thought ref had a very tough job and got the major decisions right. Felt he allowed too much lip from both sets of players, but he and VAR got main decisions right. Thought first YC was correct, red for SFP correct and the pen too. For the neutral; that is what the World Cup is about. What a...

    CAN vs MAR

This game has potential to boil over. Think MO has given cards as appropriate but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a red.

    England v Ghana

I did think the Konsa challenge was a stonewaller, especially with VAR. The Pickford one I think both players change directions into each other - but think he was in no mans land!

    England v Ghana

    I did indeed fall asleep!

    Mexico vs South Africa

From my opinion (only briefly looked at the video as I was attempting to multitask) it seems like clumsy control of the body trying to grapple in front. Just didn’t see a deliberate punch/hit. However, players know they run the risk around the head.

    Mexico vs South Africa

    1. DOGSO - textbook 2. Not sure what he was doing… Not sure if I would go VC, looks more reckless to violent to me. 3. I did feel that the last one was DOGSO worthy. Doesn’t matter if it’s a difficult goal scoring opportunity. He has the potential for a challenging shot or cross and tap in. And...

You make more sense than most commentators ;)

Could be worse… could be a wolves fan!

    Buzzer flags

Touchlines are good. But I despise the arm straps - they’re not good!

Wolves v Sunderland - Hair Pulling

I am in total agreement that hair pulls should be a red card, but even as a wolves fan, this should never have been a red card.

    A.Madrid V Arsenal

First pen was very soft and a tangling of legs… Second is a HB offence in UCL so fair enough… Third was a dive. Minimal contact. Great to see dives not getting credit. Should have booked him too!

    Man City v Arsenal

I think it is Haaland who keeps him on the pitch as he doesn’t go down like he has been shot… But I do agree that Gabriele was lucky not to see red.

Man United Vs Leeds - Hair Pulling

Again I think this is where the LOTG are outdated and need sorting. Things to add: Unacceptable sporting conduct - hair pulling, genital grabbing etc. = red card Making physical contact with a referee = red card Little things that just should be in there but are not. Football will always come...

Man United Vs Leeds - Hair Pulling

Think players have had enough opportunity to learn that hair pulling of any sort, accidental or not, will result in a red card. PGMOL have been very consistent with this to their credit.
