Yeah just seen the Gary Neville clip from last night. It gives 5 bullet points and this incident probably doesn't tick four of the boxes, the only one that saves him is the fact he's stretching. I know personal opinion shouldn't come into it but i find that the wrong decision.

Too many doubts to go red here. The ball might well run behind, is it a 3g pitch so the ball will roll quicker. Agree about the lines though, very confusing.

What does the law say now about a deliberate play ? Surely if someone is stretching and making an attempt to play the ball thats deliberate.

Penalty or not ?

Regarding the Ath Madrid incident. I get the final whistle had gone and VAR advised a penalty, surely if the game had finished should the penalty kick be the last action or is it until the ball is completely dead, i was under the impression once the penalty is taken thats the end of the game.

Amazed that some people actually think this is SFP. Its a trip, its on his foot, not his knees, shins or higher than that. Its cynical yes but there is nothing in the laws to suggest a cynical foul is a red card. Its a reckless challenge which the referee has a clear view of from 7/8 yards...

Cant believe there was a thread on this and the Keita challenge has only just been brought up. Its one of the easiest red cards you will see for me, i dont blame the referee (who had an excellent game) but how can VAR look at that and think its not a red card.
