Going to watch a good friend of mine referee as well tonight with a 18:30 ko. I can't wait to see how he handles it as I don't think he has clocked it yet. An earlier start would definitely help, but there is only so much you can do when the sun disappears
I think in my games at least this might bring even more confusion. I have always been double to stop play/restart and single to get the game going again after a stoppage.
Had a few games with the new law now and haven't had any issues with confusion from the players
I find I'm more lenient for cautions depending on the temperature of the game, the only cards I've given out were for two players who could not keep their hands to themselves on Saturday. I think its easier for me due to the sides that I get in preseason, mainly step 5/6 and maybe a development...
I imagine the guidance will be the same as goalkeepers holding the ball where it needs to be 3 clear repeats before the yellow comes out. Not sure if this would be 3 clear team or player repeats tho
Did it last summer and I loved it personally. Group of us went with the county and it was such a great experience. Late nights for the fixtures but overall the tournament was quite well organised.

Even though not football related, I ran to the gym and did a workout with the new shorts and were really comfortable for that so no worries about being tight or restrictive
I wore mine for the first time at a corporate game recently. Much better fit on the arms but I would recommend going a size up for the slightly larger folks as a medium was quite tight on me even after cutting down recently.
Shorts are baggy around the leg but i would say more comfortable overall
