I am a Center ref on a 3 man system. I am trailing the play as fast as I can as the striker breaks free. The defender comes across and in the box they collide. From my center view it looks ok, the play continues. Is there a point I stop play or look to my AR for confirmation on no foul?

I think if it went out the AR would have pointed for an offensive throw as he thought it was a keeper punch. I don’t think I could have called a corner any more than I could have called the hand hall.

When the ball was punched out it ended up with the attacking team who reset the offense. At this point I blew the whistle, talked to the AR, then played a drop ball.

We are locally assigned yes. I agree with the point. I was hoping he could help but even as I jogged over I knew it was fruitless. Seems my best bet was to play on as no reaction or signals from anyone. This has been great therapy and learning for me, I really appreciate everyone’s time and...
