Gosh a text book SPA IMO, I expect referee may reflect that should have been a second yellow.

It does ask the question how is the 4O recording subs, Graham Scott suggests they would usually have a table with three rows to avoid this issue? Wouldn’t this be standard issue for consistency? The 4O has a lot of time to check his/her paperwork during the game.

Rather than killing off our older officials could they have a long & happy retirement instead? 🤣

Interesting training piece. Works with VAR, but in all other football, you would expect this to be judged encroachment? Just on body position.

His refereeing seemed a bit messy to me. 1. He forgot his vanishing spray. 2. He was resetting the penalty, whilst the player started his run up.

I agree his next step is the line of the ball, he is entitled to this space
