His refereeing seemed a bit messy to me. 1. He forgot his vanishing spray. 2. He was resetting the penalty, whilst the player started his run up.

I agree his next step is the line of the ball, he is entitled to this space

You do have two players fouling him, shirt pull and arm across the neck which wasn’t a football action but deliberately impeding (self declaration ex GK!) Also Declan Rice was lucky, why was he defending like that, asking for trouble.

This is on the referee’s deciding to interpret something that is simply not there. HW needs to revisit his referee’s interpretation of contact with the hair.
