    Spain-Argentina

Wrong restart, drop ball to GK

    England v Argentina

That’s a poor miss not carding the sub running on the pitch with the sole reason provocation, referee looking directly at it.

    England v Argentina

He’s close to losing control, his style not recommended for new referees 😂

    England v Argentina

Crikey, he really isn’t going to card anyone.

    France - Spain

His refereeing seemed a bit messy to me. 1. He forgot his vanishing spray. 2. He was resetting the penalty, whilst the player started his run up.

    Norway Vs England

I agree his next step is the line of the ball, he is entitled to this space

    Mex v Eng

Not C&O with high bar for VAR, minimum intervention

    Bel v Sen

Strange VAR review in this high bar VAR intervention for this World Cup.

    Japanese socks

Anyone getting these socks changed at non-elite level? I’m used to think ‘socks had to be pulled up’ but Grealish et al deemed to be ok in EPL https://www.footyheadlines.com/4787875102/referee-forces-keito-nakamura-to-change-cut-socks-mid-game-at-2026-world-cup.html

    England v Ghana

Off field treatment and assessment protocol A player is not required to leave the field of play for one minute when: Maybe reason below? the player: indicates that they do not require medical attention, except where play was stopped for the injury; or voluntarily leaves the field during play...

    England v Ghana

He probably has to wait for the TV director’s signal 🤣

    IFAB changes for 26-27

This will make a big difference, Arsenal along with many clubs run the clock down at the end of the match. 45 seconds for throw ins and goal kicks. Simon Hooper should be cautioning for delaying the restart, albeit he added 7 mins plus an extra 2.5 mins, but the fans want to get home 🙈 Law 15...

    West Ham v Arsenal

You do have two players fouling him, shirt pull and arm across the neck which wasn’t a football action but deliberately impeding (self declaration ex GK!) Also Declan Rice was lucky, why was he defending like that, asking for trouble.

Wolves v Sunderland - Hair Pulling

This is on the referee’s deciding to interpret something that is simply not there. HW needs to revisit his referee’s interpretation of contact with the hair.
