    PSG v Bayern

These UEFA penalties though change games & determine who wins which is wrong if a ball is blasted at you, historic hand ball law was a hand ball had to be deliberate, why move the dial so much?

    A.Madrid V Arsenal

First penalty - clear 100%, foolish challenge Second penalty - because it comes off his knee, I would like this not to be given as a UEFA or Scottish penalty. Third penalty - Soft erring on not a penalty, but VAR should not be getting involved.. What handball interpretation are we expecting in...

    Interfering with play?

Not clear, but close to being behind the ball, so an interesting extra consideration!

Player calls an Irish opponent 'Paddy'

In the same vein, my game player called opponent ginger c—-. I went yellow, thoughts?

    Atletico v Barca VAR

Barca believe it should be a penalty & also a second YC. Is it a YC in law?

    Madrid vs Bayern

Referee Michael Oliver, VAR Jarred Gillett. MO cutting the grass to be very decisive, ‘not a penalty’, gave JG an issue in recommending a review. Would agree penalty kick should have been awarded.

    Atletico v Barca VAR

Probably not a surprise, the Spanish Referees Technical Committee conclude VAR was wrong to intervene on the Red card. https://www.goal.com/en/news/atletico-madrid-responds-to-the-technical-committee-s-admission-of-the-referee-s-error-in-the-barcelona-match/bltcecacbb1f9c00ae0#

    WHU v LEE

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cvge47evx0no Once you look at the stoppages in the West Ham game, you can see the 11 minutes was justifiable. Three minutes for treatment to Adama Traore and Joe Rodon Two minutes while the physios came on for Pablo and Jaka Bijol Three minutes for...

    Josh Smith Portsmouth v Oxford

A yellow card for me, looked like a scissor tackle from one angle but not from the other angle. Most referees would have evened up the teams with a second yellow card to Oxford’s Spencer in 2H SPA. Manager immediately subbed him. ;)

    Atletico v Barca VAR

Busy VAR here, should he/she be leaving referee to do his job? https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxeL11SVt23BxDtV3J1LCUzN-bkdS9KPxR?si=ZKJObCS5LDuX7ate https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxoYpXMzPXQHn8DAZ1Pvitt4dwkSkLA5wz?si=DEdfgMp4FUiIF2yC

    Doncaster v Mansfield - Offside

Watch the real time replay & see the pace of the run, a still picture makes lining look so easy! It was a brilliant finish, and I think the benefit of the doubt should go to the attacking team.

    IFAB changes for 26-27

Me thinks same as the micro shin pads, don’t going looking for issues, if jewellery is covered then that’s fine.

    USA v Belgium kit clash

The England comparison was that the home team don't have to wear their home kit. I do find it incredible that whoever signs off the kit, has only one job, check the front & back of the shirt!

    Arsenal vs Chelsea UWCL

I thought the referee’s view must have been blocked but she was in a really good position with clear sight, to not view this as a foul is incredible. VAR should have stepped in.

    USA v Belgium kit clash

He/she can insist on a change of kit, they are likely at the ground probably the day before & 2+ hours before the match starts. England wore their away kit at Wembley v Uruguay.
